I wore this cosplay for the first time on Sunday at Pop Con with a long, blonde wig and no wings. It was a last minute, “what-can-I-come-up-with” idea that I started on the Friday night before.

Since then, I have acquired an awesome rainbow wig and made wings for my flying pony. The wings were constructed out of EVA foam, foam construction paper, leather straps, and a lot of glue!

I wore the completed outfit for the first time on International Cosplay Day. It endured trips through the Circle Center Mall, which is where several of us were meeting. It also survived bumping into a lot of columns, clothing racks, and people. It’s hard to remember that you have a foot-and-a-half wings chillin’ on your back. On the plus side, I made a lot of little girls happy!
